With more than 30 years of legal experience, Matt brings a practical, business-minded approach to helping clients navigate complex legal matters. Known by his peers as tough but fair, he is respected for combining careful preparation with a steady focus on achieving strong outcomes for the people and organizations he represents. Matt is a registered Civil Mediator and has earned an excellent Martindale-Hubbell BV rating from his lawyer peers consistently receiving strong client reviews. He has held leadership roles within the St. Joseph County Bar Association, including President and Secretary. He has also served as Chair of the St. Joseph County Bench and Bar Committee and as a Member of the St. Joseph County Bar Foundation.
Outside of his legal practice, Matt gives back to the community through volunteer work, including volunteering for Five Star Life- a program dedicated to at risk students. A dedicated father, Matt believes South Bend is a great place to raise a family. When he is away from the office, Matt enjoys spending time outdoors and seeking new adventures with his wife, Holly.
